Pioneer Day 2018
The La Crete Agricultural Society would like to thank the Museum and Fall Fair committees and our community volunteers that played a role in making these events the great success they were. Both events serve to bring the community together. Over 800 people attended Pioneer Day this year
Pioneer Day started off with a pancake breakfast. This was followed by flour mill operations, antique equipment demonstrations, rope making, saw mill operations, blacksmithing, binding, threshing. Other activities included cultural foods, kids’ Loonie Hunt, School House activities, and an old fashioned photo shoot. The Loonies were sponsored by ATB Financial – thank you!
